12 Day Tour

On this day, firstly you will checkout from the hotel after having breakfast, then you will be taken to visit a traditional village in Habarana where you can observe the real traditional Sri Lankan village life, engaging in some activities with folks to gain experience, riding a Bullock cart around the village and rowing a traditional boat. Then you will proceed to have hike to the Pidurangala rock, which has a cave temple that was first used as a Buddhist monastery. It is believed to date back to the reign of King Kasyapa before the first and second centuries. Once you get to the top of this rock, you will enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding area and Sigiriya.

After having breakfast, you will be taken to visit Sigiriya rock fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites. Here, you will get the chance to climb to the summit of the rock fortress built by the maverick Sinhalese King, Kasyapa, to enjoy the spectacular view. Afterwards, you will be taken to visit Dambulla where the Golden Rock Temple is situated. This is the famous cave temple in Dambulla which has a rock ceiling with a sweep of colorful frescos that depict Buddhist mythology and tales of previous incarnations of the Lord Buddha. In the evening, you will head back to the hotel in Sigiriya again to spend the night.

Next day, you will check out from the hotel after having breakfast to reach Kandy via Matale and on your way, you can visit some spice gardens too. Once you reach Kandy, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalanda Maligawa). Then you can have a city tour in Kandy where you will get the chance to visit a gem museum. Afterwards, you will have an entertaining evening when you can enjoy a dazzling Sri Lankan Cultural show. Then you will spend the night in a hotel in Kandy.

On day 05th, you will check out of the hotel after having breakfast to proceed towards Kitulgala. In Kitulgala, you will get the chance for white water rafting where you can ride the tides of Kelani River. Apart from this you can engage in some activities like canyoning, cycling, waterfall abseiling, zip lining…etc. upon your choice. You can also discuss with your chauffer guide to make necessary arrangements if you want to go for a hike. At the end of the day, you will be taken to a hotel in Kitulgala, where you can spend the night.

Next day, you will check out of the hotel after having breakfast, to visit Nuwara Eliya. On your way to Nuwara Eliya you will enjoy the view of waterfalls and the view of tea-growing hill country filled with green mountains. Once you reach Nuwara Eliya you can have a city tour and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Then you will spend the night in a hotel in Nuwara Eliya

After having breakfast and checking out of the hotel in Nuwara Eliya, you will proceed towards “Horton Plains National Park” in which the vegetation consists of grasslands interspersed with montane forest which includes many endemic plants to the region. You will enjoy the view of rich biodiversity here as it is also a natural habitat for many endemic animal and bird species. Then you will be driven towards Ella where you can visit the Nine Arch Bridge and Rawana Falls. At the end of the day, you will stay overnight in a hotel in Ella

On this day, firstly you will check out of the hotel after having breakfast to head towards Udawalawa, where you will enjoy a visit to the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home. Here you can observe how the orphaned elephants are being milk- fed and taken care of. Then it will be your chance to explore the wildlife in Sri Lanka. There you will be taken on a game-drive in an open-sided safari vehicle in Udawalawa National Park where you can observe herds of elephants in their natural habitat, water buffalos…etc. and many endemic bird species and reptiles in their homes made of forest and grasslands. In the evening you will head towards Galle where you can stay overnight in a hotel.

After having an early breakfast from the hotel, you will be taken to attend in an exciting water activity in the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, Whale watching. If you are lucky, you will be able to see the blue whales and dolphins during your watching tour. Afterwards, you will be taken for scuba diving and snorkeling where you can explore the beauty of corals and thousands of colorful fish. Then you will have a tour in Galle fort watching the beautiful sun set on the southern horizon and you will stay overnight in the same hotel in Galle.

On this day, you will check out of the hotel in Galle after having breakfast. Then you will have boat safari in “Madu Ganga”, a large freshwater lake and a mangrove swamp in Sri Lanka which is a natural habitat for many plant species, animal species and bird species. Due to its rich biodiversity, you will enjoy this scenic boat ride. Then, you will take a visit to a Turtle Treachery. Afterwards, you will be checked into a hotel in Bentota, where you can spend the rest of the day at your leisure. There will be an Ayurvedic spa in this hotel where you can get a soothing body treatment upon your will. You will stay overnight in this hotel in Bentota

On this day, once you have breakfast from the hotel you can spend your time engaging in some water sports upon your choice such as water skiing, snorkeling, diving, jet skiing, kite surfing…etc. In the afternoon, you can have a city tour in Bentota and visit some of the ancient temples in the area. Then you will spend the rest of the day at your leisure and spend the night in the same hotel in Bentota.

This day will be the last day of your journey when you will be safely driven back to the airport after checking out of the hotel in Bentota
