Once you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will meet a representative from
“Travel Nexus” who chauffeurs the entire tour. Then, you will be taken for a city tour in
Colombo on your way towards the golden sandy beaches on the southwest coast of the
country.
In the afternoon you can spend the rest of the day by engaging in some water sports such as
water skiing, diving, jet skiing, kite surfing…etc. upon your choice.
You will stay overnight in a hotel in Bentota.
Next day, you will check out of the hotel after having an early breakfast to go for a boat safari
on the Madu river. “Madu Ganga”, a large freshwater lake and a mangrove swamp in Sri Lanka
which is a natural habitat for many plant species, animal species and bird species. Due to its
rich biodiversity, you will enjoy this scenic boat ride.
After that, you will visit a turtle hatchery, on your way for scuba diving and snorkeling when
you can explore the beauty of corals and thousands of colorful fish. In the evening you will
have a tour of the Galle Fort where you can watch the fascinating sunset from the southern
horizon.
At the end of the day, you will be checked into a hotel in Galle where you will stay overnight.
On this day, you will check out of the hotel in Galle, after having breakfast. Then you will
proceed to explore Sinharaja Forest Reserve, a tropical rainforest in Sri Lanka which is a
hotspot of biodiversity. It has a dense vegetation and acts as a natural habitat for many birds,
butterflies, amphibians, snakes…etc. species. This tour will be a nature lover’s dream as you
will be able to observe different types of flora, fauna, and wildlife here.
After having the tour, you will be heading towards Udawalawa where you can check into a
hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
After having breakfast, you will check out of the hotel to explore the wildlife in Sri Lanka. There
you will be taken on a game-drive in an open-sided safari vehicle in Udawalawa National Park
where you can observe herds of elephants in their natural habitat, water buffalos…etc. and
many endemic bird species and reptiles in their homes made of forest and grasslands.
Then you will have a visit to Udawalawa Elephant Transit Home where you can observe how
the orphaned elephants are being milk- fed and taken care of. After that, you will proceed towards Ella. Once you reach Ella you will visit Nine Arch Bridge and then you will be checked into a hotel where you can spend the night.
On this day, firstly, you will check out of the hotel after having an early breakfast to proceed
towards Nuwara Eliya. On your way you will enjoy the view of waterfalls and tea-growing hill
country filled with green mountains.
Then you will be taken to have a visit in “Horton Plains National Park” in which the vegetation
consists of grasslands interspersed with montane forest which includes many endemic plants
to the region. You will enjoy the view of rich biodiversity here as it is also a natural habitat for
many endemic animal and bird species.
Afterwards, you will continue your journey towards Nuwara Eliya where you can spend the
rest of the day visiting the surroundings. You will spend the night in a hotel in Nuwara Eliya
Next day, you will have breakfast from the hotel and check out of it to be driven towards
Kitulgala, to have a day filled with adventures and hikes.
In Kitulgala, you will get the chance for white water rafting where you can ride the tides of
Kelani River. Apart from this you can engage in some activities like canyoning, cycling, waterfall
abseiling, zip lining…etc. upon your choice. You can also discuss with your chauffer guide to
make necessary arrangements if you want to go for a hike.
After that, you will be heading towards Kandy where you will check into a hotel and spend the
night.
After having breakfast from the hotel, you will first visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy
(Sri Dalanda Maligawa). Then you can have a city tour in Kandy where you will get the chance
to visit a gem museum.
Afterwards, you will have an entertaining evening when you can enjoy a dazzling Sri Lankan
Cultural show. Then you will stay overnight in the same hotel in Kandy
Next day, you will check out of the hotel in Kandy after having breakfast. Then you will be
driven towards Dambulla via Matale. Enroute will include visiting a spice garden.
Once you reach Dambulla where the Golden Rock Temple is situated. This is the famous cave
temple in Dambulla which has a rock ceiling with a sweep of colorful frescos that depict
Buddhist mythology and tales of previous incarnations of the Lord Buddha.
Then you will go to visit the famous Sigiriya rock fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most fascinating
UNESCO world heritage sites. Here, you will get the chance to climb to the summit of the rock
fortress built by the maverick Sinhalese King, Kasyapa, to enjoy the spectacular view
At the end of the day, you will check into a hotel in Sigiriya where you can spend the night.
On this day, firstly you will have breakfast from the hotel and then you will go for a hike to the
Pidurangala rock, which has a cave temple that was first used as a Buddhist monastery. It is
believed to date back to the reign of King Kasyapa before the first and second centuries. Once
you get to the top of this rock, you will enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding area
and Sigiriya.
Afterwards, you will be taken to visit a traditional village in Habarana where you can observe
the real traditional Sri Lankan village life, engaging in some activities with folks to gain
experience, riding a Bullock cart around the village and rowing a traditional boat
In the evening you will go back to the same hotel in Sigiriya where you can stay overnight
This day will be the end of your whole tour, on which you will be safely driven back to the
Airport, after having breakfast and checking out of the resort.
