Once you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will meet a representative from
“Travel Nexus” who chauffeurs the entire tour. Then you will be driven towards Sigiriya, to
visit Sigiriya rock fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites.
Here, you will get the chance to climb to the summit of the rock fortress built by the maverick
Sinhalese King, Kasyapa, to enjoy the spectacular view.
At the end of the day, you will be checked into a hotel where you will stay overnight.
Next day, you will check out of the hotel after having breakfast, to begin your journey to Kandy.
On your way you will visit Dambulla, where the Golden Rock Temple is situated. This is the
famous cave temple in Dambulla which has a rock ceiling with a sweep of colorful frescos that
depict Buddhist mythology and tales of previous incarnations of the Lord Buddha.
Once you reach Kandy, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and have a city tour in Kandy.
In the evening, you will be enjoying a dazzling Sri Lankan Cultural show.
You will spend this night in a hotel in Kandy.
On this day, firstly you will check out of the hotel after having breakfast and then you will be
driven towards Ella. On your way you will enjoy the picturesque view of the tea-growing hill
country of Nuwara Eliya, and you will get the chance to view some waterfalls as well.
After that, you will visit “Horton Plains National Park” in which the vegetation consists of
grasslands interspersed with montane forest which includes many endemic plants to the
region. You will enjoy the view of rich biodiversity here as it is also a natural habitat for many
endemic animal and bird species.
Then you will be driven towards Ella where you can visit the Nine Arch Bridge and stay
overnight
After having and early breakfast from the hotel in Ella, you will check out of it to head towards
Udawalawa National Park, to go for a safari where you can explore the wildlife in Sri Lanka
such as herds of elephants in their natural habitat, water buffalos…etc. and many endemic
bird species and reptiles in their homes made of forest and grasslands.
Then you will have a visit to Udawalawa Elephant Transit Home where you can observe how
the orphaned elephants are being milk- fed and taken care of.
Afterwards, you will be driven to Galle and there you will visit the Galle fort.
At the end of the day, you will be checked into a hotel in Galle where you can spend the night.
This day will be the end of your whole tour, on which you will be safely driven back to the
Airport.
